Legal review draft · July 13, 2026

Refund policy

This proposed policy requires qualified US counsel and payment-processor review before production billing can be enabled.

Approval required

Proposed first-charge window

A customer may request a refund within seven calendar days after the first monthly subscription charge that follows the 14-day trial. Requests are reviewed manually and are not automatically approved.

How to request review

The production policy must provide the support address and request process. A request should identify the account email, charge date, selected plan, and reason category. Customers should not send statements, transaction details, account identifiers, or other sensitive financial records.

Later charges

Charges after the first post-trial charge are proposed as non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Canceling stops future renewal and retains access through the current paid period; it does not automatically refund a completed charge.

Exceptions and processor timing

Fain may approve an exception when required by law, when a duplicate or erroneous charge is verified, or when another documented basis applies. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Bank and processor settlement times can affect when funds appear.

Charge disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact support before opening a payment dispute so Fain can review the charge. Nothing in this draft limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
