Compare the plans
Every plan runs the same deterministic engine and the same privacy boundary. The difference is the monthly answer allowance and support level.

Trial, charges, cancellation, and refunds
This is the production wording, frozen for counsel review. The trial, charge, and cancellation mechanics below are enforced by the product.
Trial and access
Create an account, choose Starter or Growth, and complete Stripe Checkout. The 14-day trial starts only after Checkout succeeds.
Checkout shows the monthly amount and exact first charge date. Cancellation retains access through the current trial or paid period.
When paid access ends, export, reset, and billing reactivation remain available while decision features become read-only.
Pricing and card-required trial friction are dated hypotheses in the current evidence program. Production billing remains behind a launch flag until legal, privacy, and test-mode release gates pass.
Questions owners ask
Checkout shows the selected plan’s monthly amount and the exact date of the first charge. Unless you cancel before that date, the saved payment method is charged the disclosed amount on that date, and monthly on each renewal thereafter.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling keeps full access through the end of the current trial or paid period; after that the workspace becomes read-only, export and account deletion remain available, and no further charges occur.
Only completed Ask answers that can be rated for usefulness count. Refusals, validation failures, and narration-provider failures do not use the allowance.
Draft policy pending counsel review: if you request a refund within seven days of the first charge after the trial, we review the request manually and refund it when the service did not work as described. Later renewal charges are non-refundable except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Not in this release. Fain starts with CSV, XLS, or XLSX files you already have. Bank and accounting connections are future options, not current capabilities.
No. Raw rows, descriptions, merchants, filenames, and account identifiers stay in your browser. Hosted narration receives approved aggregate results, assumptions, and provenance only.
Fain reports USD totals and preserves source currencies locally. Non-USD accounts are excluded from USD totals when no approved conversion basis exists, and the exclusion is shown as a warning.
Fain provides financial decision support, not accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice. It is an additional lens alongside your accountant and finance tools, and prices shown exclude any taxes that may apply to your business.
